The ozone aging chamber simulates and strengthens the ozone conditions in the atmosphere, studies the effect of ozone on rubber, and quickly identifies and evaluates the anti ozone aging performance of rubber and the protective effectiveness of anti ozone agents. Effective anti-aging measures are then taken to improve the service life of rubber products

This ozone aging test chamber is used for rubber products such as vulcanized rubber, thermoplastic rubber, cable insulation sheaths, etc. Under static or continuous dynamic tensile deformation, or under intermittent dynamic tensile and static tensile alternating deformation, exposed to sealed and unlit air containing a constant ozone concentration and a constant temperature test chamber, the samples are tested for a predetermined time to evaluate the ozone aging resistance of the rubber from the degree of cracking or other performance changes that occur on the surface of the samples.

This ozone aging test chamber is made of high-quality materials and processed using the most advanced processing equipment in China. The surface of the outer shell is treated with spray coating, which is beautiful and smooth. The color matching is coordinated and the lines are smooth. The inner liner is made of imported high-quality stainless steel plate. The indoor sample racks, fixtures, conduits, and other accessories are made of materials such as stainless steel that are not easily decomposed by ozone and affect ozone concentration. The sample holder can rotate 360 degrees with adjustable speed.

The observation window is made of multi-layer insulated tempered glass with a laminated conductive film on the inside, which has the advantages of transparency, heat insulation, and is not prone to steam frosting. The interlayer between the inner container and the outer shell of the equipment is filled with high-density glass fiber cotton to ensure that the box will not experience excessive temperature fluctuations due to temperature conduction, and to maintain a constant temperature of the sample during the testing process.

The equipment uses a long axis fan motor for stirring and a stainless steel multi blade impeller that is resistant to high and low temperatures to achieve strong convection and vertical diffusion circulation, ensuring uniform and stable temperature in the laboratory.

A double-layer high-temperature resistant high tensile sealing strip is used between the door and the box to ensure the sealing of the testing area. Using non reactive door handles makes operation easier. High quality casters are installed at the bottom of the machine, making it easy to move and fix the machine.

Static tensile test

The standard stipulates that the two ends of the sample should be clamped on a dedicated fixture, and a tensile elongation of 20% should be selected. The fixture should be installed on a rotating sample holder, with a rotation speed between (20-25) mm/S. The test should be conducted at a temperature of (40 ± 2) ℃ and a specified ozone concentration. Check the cracking condition of the sample after the specified time. The general selection of ozone concentration is (50 ± 5) × 10-8.

Dynamic tensile test

The standard stipulates that the sample fixture can automatically stretch and reset the sample, with a stretching frequency of 0.5 ± 0.025Hz. The two ends of the sample are clamped on a dedicated fixture, and the sample is cyclically stretched from 0 to the maximum elongation. The fixture is installed on a rotating sample holder, with a rotation speed of (20-25) mm/S. At a temperature of (40 ± 2) ℃ and a specified ozone concentration, the fixture is cyclically stretched and reset and rotated with the sample holder for testing. Check the cracking condition of the sample after the specified time. The general selection of ozone concentration is (50 ± 5) × 10-8.
