The new soil bearing ratio (CBR) tester adopts a brand new mechanical and hardware design. The mechanical part adopts a new specialized worm gear reducer, equipped with a high torque stepper motor, which can achieve silent loading at the test speed. It also comes with a software closed-loop to ensure a constant loading speed, and the maximum pressure capacity of the host can reach 50 KN.. The height of the reaction frame can be adjusted,

The loading disk has stable lifting and lowering. The improved displacement sensor clamping mechanism can completely avoid the deviation of displacement data caused by the tilting of the loading rod. The control system has also been redesigned, using a 10.1-inch large-sized touch LCD screen, a 25mm high-precision resistance displacement sensor, a high-precision pressure sensor, and a measurement circuit, with optional range options. The loading rate can be set to any value within 0.001~10mm/min. The host can operate independently without computer control, complete all test control, calculate test results, draw loading curve graphs, print outputs, etc. The sensor readings can be displayed in either the International System of Units or the Imperial System, and are bilingual in both Chinese and English. The test specifications support British, American, and national standards.
