1.1 Product Overview
The universal testing machine for asphalt mixtures is a large-scale comprehensive asphalt mixture testing system developed by our company in accordance with the "Test Regulations for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering JTG E20-2011". This equipment adopts a servo transmission system, combined with high-precision and high-efficiency mechanical transmission system and electronic control technology, which can complete mechanical experiments of various asphalt mixtures with the use of various accessories.
The device consists of a loading host, control cabinet, environmental box, circulating water bath, and computer. The loading host adopts servo motor control, with smooth transmission, wide speed ratio range, and low operating noise. The control cabinet consists of a temperature control system, a main controller, and a confining pressure controller, which are used to complete functions such as data acquisition and control, temperature control, and confining pressure data acquisition and control. The environmental box is an independent and movable box with 4 wheels of feet, which can be easily moved. The environmental box has functions such as cooling, heating, air circulation, lighting, etc., and the temperature can be set arbitrarily between -18~60 ℃. The circulating water bath adopts an industrial compressor refrigeration system, which can provide constant test water at any temperature between 5-80 ℃ for the experiment. An external circulation system used to maintain the temperature of the pressure chamber during triaxial compression tests.
All experimental operations were completed through software on the PC. The PC is connected to the host through a U cable, greatly simplifying external wiring. All experiments are equipped with comprehensive experimental software, which provides a better user interface and more detailed experimental reports.
The three-axis testing machine for asphalt mixture, as a simplified version of the universal machine, can only complete the three-axis testing of asphalt mixture. All technical parameters and functions are included in the KWN-0 universal testing machine for asphalt mixtures. (This manual uses KWN-0 universal machine as an example to illustrate)

1.3 System Function Characteristics and Configuration
An independent temperature control system can be used to insulate other samples using an environmental chamber when no testing is conducted. (Triaxial instrument is optional, universal machine is standard)
An independent confining pressure control system with high control accuracy and fast speed. Standard configuration
2-channel independent pressure sensor, 2-channel independent displacement sensor, and 2-channel dial gauge connected. It can be configured arbitrarily according to experimental requirements.
7-inch true color touch LCD screen, user-friendly and simple operation interface.
The curve graph during the experiment can be displayed in real-time on the LCD screen.
The control cabinet and computer are connected using a universal U cable.
The software has powerful functions, and each experiment has independent experimental software that can perform origin correction (minimum multiplication fitting algorithm) on the curve graph, calculate experimental data, and output reports. It can automatically remove unqualified data according to different rules, and select and output data according to standard requirements.
