Product Information

This instrument is mainly used to determine the penetration of viscous petroleum asphalt, viscous shale asphalt, and liquid petroleum asphalt, as well as the residue of asphalt materials after distillation or emulsification. This instrument is used to measure the depth at which a standard needle with a certain weight is vertically inserted into the sample of asphalt at a specified time and temperature. The penetration test time can be set, and 200g load-bearing accessories can be selected to meet the needs of scientific research. At the same time, a low-temperature water bath can also be selected to achieve needle insertion tests at different temperatures. The newly designed hardware system, with the optional external computer or PC software, enables real-time uploading of experimental data. This instrument can also be customized with related accessories and test accessory packages, and can also measure the penetration and cone depth of other non-metallic fluid materials (paraffin, grease).
