The TSZ-1A strain controlled triaxial apparatus is used for teaching experiments in general geotechnical laboratories and colleges. The instrument is strain controlled and used for measuring the strength and deformation characteristics of soil samples with a maximum surrounding pressure of 1.0 MPa and a diameter of 39.1mm under axial static load conditions in triaxial shear tests. It can perform triaxial tests of unconsolidated undrained shear (UU), consolidated undrained shear (CU), and consolidated drained shear (CD).
