Our company's electric direct shear tester is used to measure the shear strength of soil. It adopts high-resolution color screen display and intelligent microcomputer control to achieve automation of the working process, easy operation, high accuracy, stable speed, reliable performance, and beautiful appearance. The instrument uses high-performance servo motor as the driving source, greatly reducing instrument vibration. The electric shear rate can be selected, and the rate can be quickly changed. It is easy to use and durable. It can simultaneously perform four sample tests and shear, and has an automatic shutdown mechanism when returned. The main features are: the transmission mode has been changed from the original DC servo motor to a compact stepper motor, the motor power supply has been changed from the original 220V to 24V safe voltage, and the lever force point has been improved from the original blade type to a bearing type. This instrument is safer, more sensitive, compact, more suitable, and has lower noise than before. Therefore, the use of this instrument lays a solid foundation for laboratory automation. This instrument is mainly used to determine the shear strength of the graph. Usually four soil samples are used. Apply horizontal force to shear under different vertical pressures (400Kpa, 300Kpa, 200Kpa, 100Kpa, 50Kpa optional) to obtain the shear stress at failure, and then determine the soil's shear strength parameters, internal friction angle, and cohesion based on Coulomb's law.
